Could yesterday have been any worse???

I walk into the lunch room and Baby D's friend comes up and says Baby D isn't felling well. Well, Maybe she just needs to eat. We get back from lunch, I am working with the little boy who has a one on one - (she was out to lunch) Baby D comes into my class in tears. She doesn't feel well. I calm her down and tell her to go to the nurse. I go down to check on her at she isn't feeling good so the nurse gets her some meds - low grade fever, OK, I will call DH. Go back to the room (it is like 12:20) to get my phone to call dh to come get her, there is a message from DS from 9 am - go take care of the old man - My daddy. There is also a voice mail from my brother - daddy is at the Emergency room waiting for x-rays (he fell down Friday and Sunday nights) Call dh, he can' t come get her he is on the North Fork - great!! Call my brother back - they are leaving the hospital - nothing is broken, daddy has pain killers, but really can't drink because he will be knocked on his ass. Go back to the nurse and see if Baby D can stick it out - she lays down again. Go back to my class. It is time for me to go to lunch!! Go back to the nurse - baby is gone, but the nephew is there in a lot of pain. Hit his collar bone, and can't move his arm - the nurse is going to call SIL. Have lunch go back to check on the nephew - he is going home with my in laws - was going to send the baby home, but the nurse says they will be in the emergency room so she may as well stay in school. Leave school have to take BK to dance with two friends - dh decides he is going to BJ's - great - I have 5 kids and two broken seat belts - whatever - Call the dr. Get an apt for baby at 7:20 - Get the girls to dance. Come home, dh is saying he has to go someplace. Southampton, great, take the baby to the dr for me and I will take AL to Karate - nope - the time frame doesn't work for him - Thanks for the help jack_ _ _ Go back to dance to get the girls - one of them has to wait for a costume fitting. Meantime the baby just wants to lay down someplace. Finally get out of there, drop the other two girls off. It is 20 to 7 - Maybe enough time to get BK dinner and get to the Dr. Dh pulls up and takes BK - says she has to go with him - the poor kid is hungry. Take DG to the Dr. It is viral, it has to run it's course, blah. blah, blah, blah,blah. Go get Tylenol put the baby to bed get ds's girlfriend to baby sit. Can't tll you how grateful I am for that. Go right to bed. Wake up this morning 3:30 - OK, ready to start a new day!!! Driving to the gym - barely missed 3 freakin deer crossing the road. God give me strength.

I am so done

Done with my kids not listening. Done with being aggravated about my weight. Done with being the one to worry where the money to pay the bills is coming from. Done with yelling every morning, while my husband sits down eats his breakfast and reads the paper. But alas, it isn't just my kids that don't listen to me - the kids in school aren't listening either. I haven't been on the computer too much - didn't feel like it. Yesterday was my 13th wedding anniversary and my husband didn't even have a card for me in the morning. It's not like he didn't know it was coming. I got his present in March!!! Was it too much to expect him to be prepared. It's not even like I wanted a present. The present I got his was good for both of us. But anyway.... Here is to hoping that tomorrow will be a better day...

My little boy had his first body building show on April 14th. I am so proud of him. He worked really hard to get where he was. Unfortunately for him some people chose not to work so hard and didn't go the natural way that he did. The first thing we did was take him out for a meal. He enjoyed it.

On a lighter note - my brother SIL and I took the 5 kids to the city to see Mary Poppins last weekend. It was a lot of fun. Couldn't find a lot of people to sit with us on the train ride in, but that was OK. They entertained quite a few people on the way home LOL!! I hope the didn't want to sleep on the train. HA HA !!

So, what is next on our to do list - Mothers Day!! Daddy's first without my mom. 25 people coming for dinner - isn't it mothers day???? My SIL and I decided to sit around and let the men do the work!!! We will see if that works!
