Some people have no brains!!

So, I have drop off duty at the school. The parents drive their little sweeties to school and drop them off at the back door. I stand there - regardless of the weather - which has sucked big time lately - and make sure no one gets hurt. So today the other teacher I am with and I are standing there freezing our asses off - yeah, you would think one parent that gives you that sympathetic look, would drop off a freakin cup of tea - but no!!! So anyway, kids get dropped off with their projects, cupcakes - which they don't even share with us - and everything I guess they need for the day - today a dad drops off his son with two guns - Oh yeah, you read that right! Two guns!!!! Rifles even !! I look at Miss G and ask WTF????? They are for the third grade play. Ummm, a wise choice would be for dad to bring them to the office not drop them off for an 8 year old to walk through the building with. So, she grabs them and takes them to the office where the teacher just happens to be - who was expecting little guns - not two fucking rifles. The kid tells Miss G that they are toys, they were his dads. Anyone around my age will know how real to toy guns used to look. In my opinion dad really didn't think that one through!!! (Mind you this was one of the dads who coached Ashies Little League!! )
