Vacation is canceled

Sadly New Orleans was hit pretty hard by the Hurricane. It is really bad down there. I don't mean to sound callous, but I was really looking forward to my vacation. Now they are relocating the ball game to Palm Beach. Why would I want to go to Florida in October when I am going to Florida in February??? My Frankie invited us to go with him to the Cape the following weekend. His friend is going for a (you can't make this up) Gay AA convention! So, Chris will go to meetings and we will ummm - sit in the bar and get wasted. I guess Michael and I have to figure this out. I take it as a sign to save my money, maybe just he should go!! And then he will owe me! LOL!!

Junior Brown

Went to see Junior Brown at the Stephen Talkhouse last night - When did I become old? The show would have been great if... It wasn't so loud. My God I am an old lady. Also, the husband was all fine and snuggly then he ignored me the rest of the night - not sure what was going on down the other end of the bar - very hard for little old me to see past his big old self, but it sure held his attention - he watched about half the show.!!
